After coming up with a proposal we created three efficacy tests:
Reflection
For the past couple weeks we had the job to create a solution for a biotech problem. We first started off with brainstorming possible ideas. In the running we had vehicular pollution, running out of fossil fuels, plastic pollution, and malnutrition.. We shared our ideas with our peers and received constructive to help us pick the one we wanted to research about. My group and I chose to create a solution for not having enough fossil fuels. We went straight into researching and came up with a proposal with previous attempted solutions and also described our solution. One thing we did well was prepare ourselves before jumping into our solution. We made sure we had enough background knowledge to know we were talking about. Another thing we did well was being creative. We would present crazy ideas that we thought were too much but then we would downgrade them to make them more realistic. We were very successful during the project, but we did have things did have things that weren't as strong. A huge weakness was splitting up the work load. It was unfair with the amount of work that each person got. Another weakness was finding a mentor for our proposal. We emailed a couple mentors but unfortunately not one replied. We should have foloowed up with people and give them subtle reminders.
